Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This page explains, in plain words, which cookies and similar tools CreaPuzzle uses, what they are for and how you can manage them. To learn how we handle personal data, please also read the Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on the device of the person visiting it. Similar tools, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), are used to remember some information from one visit to the next. For simplicity we call them all "cookies", but we always say which kind we mean.
The technical tools we use ourselves
CreaPuzzle saves only two pieces of information on your device. They stay in your browser's local storage and are not sent to our servers:
- Light or dark theme (key
cp-theme): remembers which look you prefer, so you do not have to choose it on every visit. - Cookie notice (key
cp-cookie): remembers that you have already closed the information message, so it is not shown again.
These are technical tools: they are not used to identify you, they do not track your browsing and they are not shared with anyone. They stay on your device until you delete them from your browser settings.
Third-party advertising cookies
The site uses the advertising service Google AdSense. Google's code, loaded in the pages, and its advertising partners may store or read cookies and identifiers on your device, for example to:
- show relevant ads, including ads based on your visits to this and other websites, where personalised advertising is allowed;
- limit how many times the same ad is shown and measure how well it works;
- prevent advertising abuse and fraud.
These cookies are managed directly by Google and its partners under their own policies: we cannot read or control them. For how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites; for the types of cookies Google uses, see policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
How to manage or turn off cookies
- From your browser: you can block or delete cookies at any time in the settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge or whichever browser you use. If you clear local storage you will have to choose again, for example, your theme.
- Personalised advertising: you can turn it off in Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads.
- Other providers: you can set your choices for many advertising networks at aboutads.info/choices or, within Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
If you block advertising cookies the site keeps working normally: you may see less relevant ads, but you lose no feature.
Updates to this page
If we change the tools we use, for example by introducing a consent management system, we will update this page and the date at the top. For any question you can write to us from the Contact page.
